The Marc Hertrich studio of Paris, renowned for its attention to detail is currently implementing a total makeover of Ixtapa Pacific, set to reopen December 2007. Marc Hertrich incorporates indigenous materials, local folklore and artwork from the host country into French influenced contemporary design. The studio also designed Cancun Yucatan, Mexico; Caravelle, Guadeloupe and Agadir, Morocco, among others.
